Workshop
SIL workshop takes almost half of the SIL building and also considered as the biggest and most important department which provides both the area and tools (or machinery) that may be required for the manufacture or repair of manufactured goods. Our workshops are the places of production of SIL local products.
Planning and timing is our main concern, with a proper and good planning, the production can be much more effective.
We have also set a limit for each products production. We are able to produce a 4500 Digester in 4 weeks time including finishing and QC check. SIL single barrel can be completed in 4 weeks time including finishing and coupling (ready unit), according to ISO 9001:2008 standard of quality assurance.
FACILITIES
2 units of 5 tons cranes, scrap machines, balancing machines, vertical and horizontal compressor press machines, welding, bending and etc. these are all the facilities that are available in SIL workshop.
We care for our workers safety, by the learning the system of our principals and partners in Spore, Malaysia and others, we also have the eager to show them that Indonesia workshop can apply the same discipline as theirs. So, we are quite strict in this matter. Workers must wear a full set of safety attire according to each department or else they will get a serious warning.
The first things to do for the entire worker in the early morning is to do cleaning up, and it is the same after finish in the noon, what we are trying to do is to create a comfortable working environment so every workers can be productive and well manage, according to ISO 9001:2008.
